(This is from the other day. I wish I had dated it. Do you know how to find out what the date was that I originally wrote this? Please put it in the comments if you do. Thanks) I was musing and did not know how to work this program, so I didn't save... Hope you enjoy. This is probably more information than either of us wants today, but here goes... Ok, so you’re born naked and as you live you begin to discover what you like and don’t like. You’re "pre-packaged," and what YOU have to do is “discover your strengths, talents, likes”, right? So, you live your life doing this, and you pick up information, and then with experiences you pick up wisdom. Then you die, taking nothing, NOTHING of this physical world with you. ...BUT, doesn't it makes sense that if you came in with stuff already in you that you go out with that stuff in you? => hence, an afterlife.
Aristotle(?) said, "You don't learn. Teachers help you to remember what you already know." That's how you learn.
As an acquaintance of mine once told me, "Regrets are futile emotions." Regrets are me saying to myself, (crying, whining, sad to myself) "How can I go back and change that to something I think I want."
Forgiveness is one of the most healing things I do for myself. Forget the other person! This is self-help! LOL As one person said, "forgiveness doesn't mean you say it didn't happen. It means you let go of the debt the other person has, to make it right. It also lets it not affect you anymore." It just becomes, "It is."
Our history is told in stories from ages old. Films are just a contiuation of that. Films, movies are very important to us becasue the futher our stories. That's why experimental films dont go very far? Yes, they are art, but stories are what matter to us. Others' lives, our lives, relating to ohters lives. Stories are threads that hold together all of our lives?

I want you to know that I'm glad you saw this page and it's posts.
I just saw Julia & Julie - a movie. A very good movie, I was surprised to say, in my opinion, only because the title (titles are important) didn't suggest that to me - that it would be moving. (Moved me to write tonight!). But it was moving because, as I am looking for in my life, and you may be in yours at some time (maybe even now), I am looking at how to be true to myself, to find my place in this world in my occupation, filming or otherwise. Filming, I feel pretty sure right now. (How can one NOT know this... :-)
Ultimately, like you, I want to make a difference, a significant difference in this world. I know I have a finite amount of time. Apparently everybody dies and since I'm on that road I'd like to leave it better than I came in and I'd like to prepare (assume more responsiblilty) for what comes next. I'm "sure" something comes next. Are you? :-)
